What to Expect

Every appointment is unhurried, intentional, and centered entirely around your pet's comfort and your family's peace.

A Gentle Goodbye at HomeYour pet receives a calming sedative first, allowing them to fully relax in your arms, in their favorite spot. When they are sleeping peacefully and , a second medication is gently administered. The process is typically quiet, calm, and painless.

You can hold them, talk to them, or simply sit together in silence; whatever feels right for your family. There is no rush.

After Your AppointmentYour pet will be transported with the utmost care to our partner for aquamation. Your pet remains in dedicated care every step of the way.

Coming HomeWithin 10-14 days, your pet's remains will be returned to you in a handcrafted alongside the Sol Remembrance Collection; a curated set of meaningful keepsakes to honor the life they lived

Water Cremation

Aquamation: Also known as water cremation or alkaline hydrolysis; is a natural, eco-conscious alternative to traditional flame cremation. Using warm water and gentle minerals, the process mirrors the same biological journey that occurs in nature, simply accelerated with care and intention.

No flame. No emissions. Just water.

Aquamation is the most environmentally gentle aftercare option available, returning up to 50% more remains than traditional cremation. Your pet's remains are returned to you as a lasting, tangible reminder of the life you shared.

Sol is proud to offer aquamation as our primary aftercare option, because how we care for your pet after goodbye matters just as much as the goodbye itself.

Our Process

  • 01 Getting Started

    Complete our intake form online with your pets history and aftercare preference. Request your preferred date and wel’ll confirm availability. All paperwork and payment is handled in advance to allow all the focus on your pet during the visit.

  • 02 The day Of

    Your pet will first receive a sedation injection that allows them to fall into a deep, peaceful sleep. Once they are completely comfortable and unaware, a second medication is gently administered to help them pass. The process is typically quiet, calm, and painless.

  • 03 What Comes Next

    If you have selected aquamation, we will transport your pat with care following the appointment. If you have chosen private care of remains, your pet will be remain at home with you. Private remains are returned to your family within 10-14 days along with each family receiving a Sol Remembrance Collection package.
